  • Have you done, or are doing art classes but wonder what to do next? What to do with those paintings?
  • Have you never done art but would like to give it a go?
  • Would you like to meet like-minded people and enjoy some social interaction?

  • Then join us at the new LABRADOR COMMUNITY HUB on Tuesdays 10am till 4pm. Bring some lunch and wear your old clothes. Bring a canvas.

We are a not-for-profit group of Community Artists who live on the Northern Gold Coast. We are a group of 'Outsider Artists' (i.e. amateur artists).
Our group is run by members for members.
Our mission is to provide a social creative atmosphere where community members can make friends and discover new ways to make art. We aim to reduce social isolation in our local community.
We aim to maintain our members' good social and emotional good health, by encouraging their feelings of self confidence and self worth through creativity using the arts.
We do this by encouraging members to research, compile and present (with help) a short art workshop or demonstration to the group, from time to time.
As a result of this some of our members have found that they have skills and confidence they did not know they had.
We encourage members to get involved in organising and exhibiting their works in art exhibitions, to become a responsible part of the group. They find that they are able to use these experiences, and new-found confidence in other parts of their life.
We also aim to increase the community's awareness and engagement in the arts.
